Adirondack PC  -  Warranty, Purchase Contract, and Disclaimer Information


Here you will find all legal contract information relating to AdirondackPC.
By Committing to Purchase Equipment from AdirondackPC, You Agree to the following Contract Terms:

*** WARRANTY,  NEW COMPUTER HARDWARE  (last updated 01-31-2008) ***

All new equipment purchased herein from AdirondackPC will be warrantied (hardware only) by AdirondackPC for a period of 1 year from the date that the computer system build is completed by AdirondackPC.  This “warranty start-date” may vary slightly from the date on which the equipment is delivered or otherwise provided to the customer.  The start-date will be provided to the customer upon request, and is often written on the inside cover of the MS Windows booklet.

Please understand that this warranty covers the malfunction of physical hardware only.  Software, including CD’s, diskettes, and that which comes pre-installed on the PC hard drive is NOT warrantied!  Customer data is NOT warrantied!

Necessary labor time to fix/replace any defective hardware within this warranty period will be covered by your warranty if and only if you, the customer, provide any and all necessary transportation of said malfunctioning hardware to and from the AdirondackPC Offices.  Otherwise, service call fees will be assessed.

(A "service call" is defined as a customer-requested visit by an AdirondackPC technician or other employee to the customer’s site at which the equipment sold herein is located.)

Labor time for necessary service calls during the warranty period will NOT be covered by warranty, even if the service call results in discovery that the customer’s complaint(s) are caused entirely by malfunctioning hardware that is itself covered under warranty.

The “grand total” indicated on the Computer Spec Sheets we provide does not include any of the following possible expenses:

  • labor time spent installing extra software provided by the customer or tutoring user(s) on specific/advanced functions of the PC or of Windows.

  • labor time spent working with computers/equipment other than the PC and/or any additional equipment being sold herein.

Fees for these extra unplanned services will be billed according to our Labor Rate Details.
